Rabies Vaccination Policy
To comply with Virginia law and to help protect the health and safety of our patients, clients, and staff, all dogs and cats receiving routine veterinary care at our clinic must be current on their legally required rabies vaccination.
If your pet is not current on their rabies vaccination, we are happy to administer it during your visit, provided there is not medical reason to temporarily delay vaccination.
If rabies vaccination is medically contraindicated due to illness or another veterinary concern, we will provide the necessary care for that visit. However, your pet must receive a rabies vaccination before any future routine appointments.
If your pet has already received a rabies vaccination at another veterinary clinic, please provide documentation so we can update our records.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we follow state law and maintain a safe environment for everyone.
